| Reverse description | Reverse flan of irregular hammered form, entirely filled with a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script. The inscription records the mint name Ordu Mu'azzam and the AH date 766 (1364/1365 CE), arranged in horizontal lines across the field. Three pellet ornaments are visible between the upper legend lines, a decorative device commonly employed on Golden Horde dirhams of this period. The strike is bold but slightly off-centre, with portions of the legend running to the irregular flan edge, consistent with standard hammered workshop production. |
