| Description de l’avers | Central field bears the Shahada inscription arranged in horizontal lines within a plain inner circle, executed in angular Kufic script. The primary legend reads the declaration of the oneness of God and the prophethood of Muhammad. A circular marginal legend in Kufic script runs along the periphery of the coin, completing the Quranic verse from Surah At-Tawbah. The flan is irregular and characteristic of hammered Islamic silver coinage of the Umayyad period. No figurative imagery is present, consistent with the aniconic tradition of early Islamic numismatics. |

| Description du revers | Central field displays four lines of Kufic script containing verses from Surah Al-Ikhlas (112), affirming the absolute oneness of God. A circular marginal legend surrounds the central inscription, incorporating the mint name Ramhurmuz and the AH date (128 AH) within the formula 'Bismillah, this dirham was struck at Ramhurmuz in the year one hundred and twenty-eight.' The script is angular Kufic, neatly arranged in horizontal registers. The flan is slightly uneven, typical of hand-struck Umayyad silver dirhams. No decorative elements or figural motifs appear, adhering strictly to the epigraphic style established under the Umayyad monetary reform of Abd al-Malik. |
