| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse follows the same tripartite concentric layout as the obverse, presenting Arabic Kufic inscriptions across central and marginal registers. The central field carries the second part of the Shahada: 'Muhammad rasul Allah' (Muhammad is the Messenger of God), arranged in horizontal lines. The inner circular legend contains a Quranic reference (Quran 9:33), and the outer marginal legend records the mint name and Hijri date of issue. A plain linear border separates the central and marginal fields, consistent with the reformed Umayyad-derived Abbasid dirham standard established under the caliph al-Mansur. |
