Reverse description The reverse displays a five-line Arabic and Mongolian-script inscription in the field, citing the Ilkhan Arghun (r. 1284–1291) in a formulaic acknowledgment of Ilkhanid sovereignty. The legends are arranged in horizontal registers across the flan without a border cartouche, rendered in a fluid cursive hand characteristic of Ilkhanid-era coinage of Fars. The flan is irregular with a somewhat porous surface and shows slight weakness of strike at the margins, consistent with hammered silver production. No geometric border frame is present, and the legends extend nearly to the coin's edge.
