Jelšingrad was a major metalworking and machinery complex based in Banja Luka, operating as a SOUR — Složena Organizacija Udruženog Rada — under Yugoslavia's self-management system. Worker rest facilities (odmarališta) were a standard benefit of that system, and Tučepi, a coastal town on the Makarska Riviera, was a predictable destination for inland industrial workers. This voucher authorized meals at the company-owned facility there, bypassing the dinar entirely within the closed welfare circuit of the enterprise.
The RZ DSZ designation identifies the issuing subunit as a specific radna zajednica within the broader combine — internal scrip of this kind rarely survived the holiday intact, let alone the decade.
