| Obverse description | Two standing figures face the viewer in Byzantine hieratic style: at left, King Stefan Uroš III Dečanski depicted in royal robes and crown, and at right, his patron saint Stefan the Protomartyr, both jointly holding a large patriarchal cross between them. The figures are rendered in low relief with stylized drapery typical of medieval Serbian coinage. A Latin legend surrounds the composition, reading VROSIVS REX SSTEFAN, identifying the king and the saint. The overall design reflects the strong Byzantine artistic influence prevalent in the Nemanjić dynasty's coinage. |

| Reverse description | Christ Pantokrator is depicted seated facing on a high-backed throne in the Byzantine manner, bearded and nimbed, with both arms raised or extended in a gesture of benediction, wearing imperial robes with jeweled decoration. The figure occupies the full central field of the coin, rendered in the flat, stylized relief characteristic of medieval Serbian hammered silver dinars. Abbreviated Greek Christograms flank the enthroned figure in the upper field, identifying the image. The overall composition closely follows Byzantine iconographic conventions as adopted by the Nemanjić rulers of Serbia. |
