A circular marginal legend in Arabic script encircles the central inscription, contained between two concentric beaded or dotted borders. The coin's reverse reflects the characteristic Buyid practice of asserting dual political legitimacy through both the reigning amir's titles and nominal Abbasid caliphal authority. |
