| Beschrijving keerzijde | A fire altar with prominent flames dominates the center of the field, flanked by heraldically arranged symbolic devices above the altar platform. Two royal attendants stand in attendance on either side of the altar: the left figure wears a winged crown surmounted by a korymbos, while the right figure wears a mural crown, consistent with Sasanian royal and divine iconography. An Inscriptional Pahlavi legend appears in the field, providing a mint name or royal epithet. The overall composition adheres to the standard Sasanian reverse type established from the reign of Ardashir I onward. |
