| Description de l’avers | Frontal bust of Khusru II facing forward, depicted with a full beard rendered in fine granular detail. The king wears an elaborate royal crown adorned with a crescent-and-globe finial surmounted by a second globe, with lateral wing-like projections and ribbon ties falling to either side. Flanking the royal bust are ear ornaments and layered jeweled necklaces visible at the base of the neck. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends appear in the field to the left and right of the effigy, identifying the ruler. The portrait is executed in the bold, highly stylized relief characteristic of late Sasanian hammered gold coinage. |

| Description du revers | Standing frontal effigy of Khusru II in full royal regalia, depicted wearing the elaborate royal crown with crescent-and-globe finial. The king is shown in a long belted robe with articulated folds, holding objects in each hand consistent with royal insignia. Rosette or floral shoulder ornaments flank the figure at either side. A beaded border encircles the design, with Inscriptional Pahlavi legends filling the field to the left and right of the standing figure, recording the ruler's name and titles. The reverse type follows the distinctive full-figure royal portrait tradition of Khusru II's gold coinage, distinguishing these dinars from the fire-altar reverses typical of Sasanian silver drachms. |
