The god's youthful, idealized facial features display strong Hellenistic artistic influence, with deeply modeled cheeks and a serene expression. Radiating sun rays emerge symmetrically from the hair across the full circumference of the flan, serving as the principal iconographic attribute of the solar deity. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices on the obverse. |

To the left of the rose, an eagle stands right atop a thunderbolt, serving as an additional divine symbol. The magistrate's name ONAΣANΔPOΣ appears in Greek letters above the rose in the upper field, while the ethnic abbreviation P O flanks the rose below, denoting the issuing city. The composition is well-balanced within the round flan, consistent with the standard typology of Rhodian silver coinage of the late third to early second century BC. |
