Obverse description Facing radiate head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair radiating outward around the face in the characteristic Rhodian style. The god's youthful, idealized facial features display strong Hellenistic artistic influence, with deeply modeled cheeks and a serene expression. Radiating sun rays emerge symmetrically from the hair across the full circumference of the flan, serving as the principal iconographic attribute of the solar deity. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices on the obverse.
