She is shown in formal, frontal presentation with attributes consistent with her role as a divine personification of wealth and royal legitimacy. The surrounding field bears a Bactrian legend identifying the deity, though heavy patination and surface corrosion render the specific lettering largely illegible on this specimen. The overall style reflects the syncretic Irano-Buddhist artistic conventions characteristic of Kushan coinage of the mid-third century. |
