| Descrizione del dritto | Facing three-quarter bust of Helios, the sun god, rendered in high relief with characteristic radiating solar crown projecting around the head. The effigy displays finely engraved curling hair swept to either side, with a youthful, idealized visage of Hellenistic style. The broad, deeply modeled face turns slightly to the right, with the rays of the solar crown clearly delineated in the field. The workmanship is of high quality, consistent with the accomplished die-engraving tradition of the Rhodian mint. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A fully open rose bloom viewed from above occupies the central field, with a budding lateral stem extending to the right; a circular wreath device appears to the left in the field. The magistrate's name AΓEMAXOY is inscribed in Greek letters along the upper periphery, while the ethnic abbreviation P O (for POΔION, Rhodes) is placed below the rose on either side of the stem. The entire design is enclosed within a border of pellets. The rose, the civic emblem of Rhodes, is rendered with bold, naturalistic petals in the high-relief Hellenistic manner. |
