Reverse description A goat standing to the right in profile, rendered in the characteristic style of Parian coinage. Above the animal, a two-line inscription in Greek identifies the issuing magistrate and the city. The composition is straightforward and heraldic, typical of late Hellenistic civic coinage from the Aegean islands. The goat served as a emblematic device for Paros, reflecting local iconographic traditions. The legend is clearly distributed across the upper field in two horizontal lines.
