Beschrijving voorzijde	Head of Artemis facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with wavy hair pulled back and secured by a stephane or diadem bearing a central ornament. The hair falls in loose waves about the neck, and the portrait displays a youthful, idealised effigy characteristic of late Cretan civic coinage. The surface of the flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck production.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A tall palm tree occupies the central field, flanked on the left by an eagle standing left with wings displayed and on the right by a figure, possibly a deity. The Greek legend is disposed in the field, reading ΙΕΡΑΠΥΤΝΑ (city ethnic) alongside the magistrate names. The composition is characteristic of Hierapytna civic coinage, referencing the city's Cretan identity through the palm tree motif.
