Beschrijving voorzijde Facing head of Helios, the sun god and patron deity of Rhodes, rendered in three-quarter view facing slightly to the right. The effigy displays the god's characteristic flowing, radiate hair arranged in thick curling locks framing the face, with a small rose bud visible above the forehead as a dynastic symbol. The facial features are modeled with considerable artistic refinement typical of early Hellenistic Rhodian coinage, exhibiting naturalistic treatment of the eyes, nose, and slightly parted lips. The flan is broad and the relief is bold, filling the obverse field almost entirely without an encircling legend.

Beschrijving keerzijde A large, centrally placed rose in full bloom, the primary civic emblem of Rhodes, depicted with three open petals and a prominent central bud rising from a calyx with two flanking leaves and a curved stem. To the left of the rose stem appears the magistrate's control letter A (alpha), and to the right a trident symbol serving as a secondary control mark. The Greek ethnic legend POΔION arcs around the upper field, with the additional letters A and Ψ flanking the upper portion of the design, identifying the issuing city and magistrate. The composition is bold and heraldic in style, characteristic of early Hellenistic Rhodian silver coinage.
