| Opis rewersu | Deeply recessed quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, divided by two diagonal raised ridges crossing at the center to form four triangular compartments of alternating relief and depression, consistent with early Archaic hammered coinage technique. The incuse is sharply cut and geometrically regular, with no inscription or additional devices. This mill-sail or windmill pattern within the square punch is a hallmark of the earliest Athenian didrachms attributed to the Wappenmünzen series. |
