Two six-pointed stars flank the eagle in the upper field, with additional stars in the lower flanking field. The city ethnic ΑΠΑΜΕΩΝ arcs along the upper margin, while the magistrates' names ΑΝΔΡΟΝΙΚOY and ΑΛΚΙOY appear in two lines below the altar. The composition is characteristic of the civic bronze coinage of Apameia Kibotos in Phrygia. |
