| Obverse description | A plain cross pattée extends to the inner beaded circle, dividing the field into four quarters. The legend runs in the outer annulus between the beaded inner circle and the coin's irregular rim. The design is characteristic of the Frankish deniers tournois coinage struck in the Latin East, executed in a crude hammered style typical of provincial medieval minting. |

| Reverse description | A stylized fortified tower or gateway occupies the center of the field, depicted frontally with crenellations along the parapet and a central arched portal, flanked by turrets. Two pellets appear in the upper field to either side of the tower. The surrounding legend is positioned between a beaded inner circle and the irregular flan edge. The design is derived from the Denier Tournois of Tours and adapted for Frankish Greek coinage, struck in a characteristically rough hammered style. |
