Beschrijving keerzijde Two standing figures facing one another in a stylized Romanesque composition, likely depicting a ruler and a saint or bishop, each rendered in schematic linear style typical of early 12th-century Bohemian coinage. The figures are shown in high relief within a beaded border, with simplified drapery and symbolic attributes such as a lance or staff. A partial legend in Latin characters appears around the periphery of the coin, though it is largely illegible due to the irregular flan and die wear characteristic of hammered medieval issues.

Aanvullende informatie

Vladislaus I's reign saw persistent tension with his brother Soběslav, who had been passed over for the duchy and was actively conspiring with Holy Roman Emperor Henry V against him. Coinage from this specific window — before Vladislaus was forced to abdicate in 1125 — was struck under those conditions of political instability, which likely disrupted mint continuity. Cach 547 is among the thinner-documented issues of the series, and surviving specimens are infrequently offered.
