Denier - Theoderich

Beschrijving voorzijde	Stylised architectural elements, possibly representing towers or turrets, arranged across the field in a schematic, highly abstracted manner characteristic of early medieval hammered coinage. The design is divided into compartments bearing the retrograde and inverted inscription BAASE, rendered in large, crude letters that fill the available field. The lettering is presented in a fragmented layout across the flan, with individual characters oriented in different directions, reflecting the primitive die-cutting style of the period. No effigy or figural imagery is present; the composition is entirely typographic and architectural in nature.
