| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a stylized architectural or cross-topped tower motif, rendered in a primitive Romanesque manner typical of Bohemian-Moravian deniers of the late 11th century. A crescent or horseshoe-shaped element is visible below the central device, with further abstract ornamental details in the inner field. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a fragmentary Latin legend along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammer-struck fabric with uneven surfaces. The overall style reflects the provincial workshop output associated with the Přemyslid appanage duchy of Olomouc. |

Svatopluk of Olomouc ruled as duke under Bohemian suzerainty during one of the most turbulent periods of Přemyslid succession politics, eventually seizing the Bohemian ducal throne itself in 1107 — the same year this type's production ends. His assassination at the Diet of Merseburg in 1109 cut short a reign marked by near-constant dynastic conflict. Deniers attributable to his Olomouc period are poorly documented in surviving hoards, and the VP#128 attribution relies heavily on monogram analysis rather than any firm documentary record.
