Svatopluk of Olomouc ruled as duke under Bohemian suzerainty during one of the most turbulent periods of Přemyslid succession politics, eventually seizing the Bohemian ducal throne itself in 1107 — the same year this type's production ends. His assassination at the Diet of Merseburg in 1109 cut short a reign marked by near-constant dynastic conflict.
