Obverse description Central isosceles cross with splayed, wedge-shaped terminals at the end of each arm, set within a beaded or raised inner border. Small crosses and wedges fill the quarters between the main cross arms, arranged symmetrically in the field. The design is executed in the rough, primitive hammered style characteristic of early Hungarian medieval coinage.

Reverse description A plain cross centered within a raised inner circle or ring, enclosed by an outer border. The spaces between the inner and outer circles are filled with short radial lines. The overall composition is simple and unadorned, consistent with the anonymous hammered bracteate-influenced deniers of the early Árpád dynasty.
