Obverse description A large central cross occupies the field, with four dots and four smaller crosses disposed alternately between the arms of the main cross. Two crescents are positioned flanking the terminal of each arm, their horns embracing the cross ends in a symmetrical arrangement characteristic of early Hungarian hammered coinage.
