| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a plain cross with a pellet in each angle, a characteristic device of early Capetian royal coinage. The cross divides the flan into four quadrants, each containing a small annulet or pellet. The circumferential Latin legend + ROTBERT REX encircles the design, identifying the issuer as King Robert.
