Obverse description Central plain cross with a pellet in each of the four angles, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend is arranged in two lines reading outward, separated by the inner beaded border. The design is characteristic of Carolingian hammered coinage, struck on an irregularly shaped flan with somewhat uneven letter spacing. A small cross pattée appears at the top of the coin, serving as an interpunct within the legend.

Reverse description A stylised Carolingian temple or church facade depicted in three-quarter elevation, with a triangular pediment surmounted by a cross, supported by two columns with a small cross visible in the central bay between them and a stepped base beneath. The architectural motif is rendered in the angular, schematic manner typical of Carolingian ecclesiastical coinage. The surrounding circular legend is distributed around the temple design on an irregularly struck flan.
