| Описание реверса | Central motif consists of a plain cross with globules or pellets adorning each of the four angles, set within a beaded inner circle, a type characteristic of Ottonian imperial coinage of the early eleventh century. The cross arms are boldly struck and extend to the inner circle, dividing the central field into four quarters. The surrounding circumscription, running clockwise in Latin majuscule lettering around the outer field of the irregularly shaped flan, records the mint city name. The overall composition reflects the standardised reverse design employed at imperial mints under Henry II. |
