| Descrizione del dritto | Central field displays a heraldic shield bearing a left-facing lion rampant, the arms of the Duchy of Brabant, rendered in the crude but vigorous style characteristic of mid-13th century hammered coinage. The shield occupies most of the flan and is surrounded by a beaded inner border. A partial Latin legend reading . H`DV CIS (abbreviated for Henricus Dux, meaning Henry, Duke) runs around the periphery, partially visible due to the irregular striking of the flan. |

The design is enclosed within a beaded border, and the overall execution reflects the hammered technique typical of feudal Low Countries coinage of the 13th century. |
