Reverse description A bold Brabantine cross with splayed, wedge-shaped arms divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing one letter of the moneyer's name. The letters B, A, S, and T are placed individually in the four angles of the cross, identifying the moneyer responsible for the issue. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, and the overall execution reflects the hammered technique typical of feudal Low Countries coinage of the 13th century.
