| Opis awersu | Central field dominated by a stylised tower or donjon in high relief, rendered in the Romanesque manner characteristic of early 13th-century Brabantine coinage. The tower features a pointed, triangular-crested roof above a multi-tiered, horizontally-banded body, flanked by two tall vertical pilasters or turrets. The base of the tower rests on a decorative arcaded or denticulated groundline. The surrounding field is bordered by a ring of large annulets and pellets, forming a beaded or cable inner circle consistent with the hammered coinage of the period. |
