| 背面描述 | Central field displays a schematic facing bust or head, likely representing the bishop Henry I of Bilversheim, framed by a simplified architectural canopy or crown at the top. Flanking elements, possibly croziers or stylised foliate ornaments, appear on either side of the central motif, a common compositional device on Bamberg episcopal pfennigs of the mid-13th century. The design is executed in a flat, somewhat barbarous relief typical of hammered bracteate-influenced deniers from the Franconian ecclesiastical mints. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammer-strike distortion around the edges. No clear peripheral inscription is legible. |
