| 背面描述 | A plain cross with a large globule (pellet) placed in each of the four angles, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The design is stark and unadorned, consistent with the simplified reverse types common to north German feudal deniers of the late 11th century. Partial fragmentary inscription traces appear in the outer field, though the legend is largely off-flan or illegible. |

Henry of Northeim held the county during one of the most fractious periods of the Investiture Controversy, when Saxon nobles repeatedly shifted allegiances between the emperor and the papal party. His father Otto had been a central figure in the Saxon revolts against Henry IV, and the family's political position remained precarious throughout this coinage period. Deniers of this county are poorly documented in early literature, with Dannenberg's attribution remaining the primary reference point for most examples that surface.
