Descrizione del dritto	Central cross whose arms are cantoned by two pellets (bezants) and an annulet, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The duke's name and title appear in a Latin legend distributed around the periphery of the flan. Typical of late Ottonian hammered coinage, the design is rendered in low relief with slightly irregular flan edges.

Descrizione del rovescio	Stylised two-tiered church or temple facade rendered in the Ottonian architectural convention, with a triangular pediment surmounting a colonnade or arcade, all executed in low hammered relief. The name of the moneyer and the mint toponym are distributed in a Latin legend surrounding the central architectural motif. The overall composition is characteristic of Bavarian deniers of the late tenth century, referencing the episcopal or palatial buildings of the Cham mint.
