| Opis awersu |
Central field occupied by a stylized ear of wheat or palm frond rendered in relief, with symmetrically arranged lateral branches terminating in pellets, the stem issuing from a small forked base. The motif is boldly executed in the Lombard hammered tradition, with three pellets flanking the lower branches on each side. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading from the upper right and encircling the entire field. |

| Opis rewersu |
Central device consisting of a plain cross pattée with a pellet at the center intersection, with a large pointed oval (vesica) motif placed in each of the four quarters between the arms of the cross, creating a distinctive decorative composition. The cross and ovals are boldly struck in the hammered style typical of Lombard Beneventan coinage of the early ninth century. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading continuously around the field, invoking the Archangel Michael as patron of the principality. |
