| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a stylized ear of wheat or palm frond rendered in relief, with symmetrically arranged lateral branches terminating in pellets, the stem issuing from a small forked base. The motif is boldly executed in the Lombard hammered tradition, with three pellets flanking the lower branches on each side. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading from the upper right and encircling the entire field. |
