Obverse description Bareheaded effigy of Bishop Conrad in right-facing profile bust, a crozier depicted before the face, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The portrait is rendered in the crude but expressive Ottonian-Salian hammered style typical of late 11th-century episcopal coinage of the Low Countries. The surrounding field carries the Latin legend identifying the issuing bishop. The beaded border delineates the design zone from the coin's irregular outer edge.
