| 背面描述 | An eagle displayed with wings spread wide, shown in profile facing left, rendered in a bold, stylized medieval fashion characteristic of Angevin-period Hungarian deniers. The bird's head is turned with a hooked beak visible, and the talons are depicted gripping at the base. The design fills the flan with strong relief, surrounded by a beaded border. This eagle motif is associated with the Angevin dynastic symbolism of Charles Robert's reign. |

Charles Robert of Anjou spent the first decade of his Hungarian reign fighting for the throne he had technically held since 1301, his authority contested by rival claimants backed by powerful magnate factions. Only after the Battle of Rozgony in 1312 — which broke the Aba clan's military power — could he begin centralizing control and reforming the coinage. The deniers of his later reign reflect this consolidation, issued under a reformed mint system that redistributed revenues away from the nobility and back to the crown.
The ÉH#370 attribution places this among the better-documented types of an otherwise complex series.
