| Beschrijving keerzijde | Within a beaded inner circle, a plain Latin cross with equal arms is prominently displayed in the central field, its four arms extending nearly to the beaded border. Small crosses or pellets appear in the angles between the arms of the outer legend crosses. A Latin legend identifying the issuing monastery runs clockwise in the outer field, punctuated by a cross pattée at the beginning. The reverse design follows the canonical Carolingian ecclesiastical denier format associated with the Abbey of Saint-Sébastien at Soissons. |
