Wenceslaus II ruled Moravia as margrave under the broader Přemyslid dominion, and the bracteate deniers of this period reflect a monetary tradition already fading across much of Central Europe — thin, single-sided striking on broad flans had largely given way to double-sided coinage in most neighboring territories by this point.
