Otakar's catastrophic defeat by Rudolf of Habsburg restructured power across Bohemia and Moravia almost overnight, and coinage from the regency period reflects an administration scrambling to assert continuity. Bracteates of this type circulated in a region under shifting political guardianship, not stable royal authority.
