| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a stylized Gothic monogram of Wenceslaus II, composed of interlaced vertical and diagonal strokes surmounted by a small cross-like finial, with flanking foliate or ray-like projections radiating outward from the base of the monogram. The design is set within a plain inner circle, itself enclosed by a raised beaded or rope-pattern border following the irregular round flan. No legend surrounds the device. The relief is characteristic of thin single-sided bracteate coinage, struck with a single die on a thin silver flan. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Wenceslaus II inherited the Margraviate of Moravia as a minor following the death of his father Přemysl Otakar II at the Battle on the Marchfeld in 1278 — the same year this issue begins. Otakar's catastrophic defeat by Rudolf of Habsburg restructured power across Bohemia and Moravia almost overnight, and coinage from the regency period reflects an administration scrambling to assert continuity. Bracteates of this type circulated in a region under shifting political guardianship, not stable royal authority.
Cach 1014 is the standard reference attribution, though die variation within this emission is not trivial.
