Obverse description Single-sided bracteate of characteristic thin, concave fabric with an irregularly scalloped rim. The central field displays a stylized heraldic griffin or eagle device in high relief, rendered in the crude but vigorous Romanesque manner typical of 13th-century Pomeranian bracteates. The motif is set within a plain raised inner border, with the broad flat rim showing the characteristic flan distortion of the hammered bracteate technique. No legend is present.
