| 裏面の説明 | As a bracteate, this coin is struck from a single die on a thin flan, producing an incuse mirror image on the reverse. The reverse accordingly presents a sunken, reversed impression of the obverse design, showing the standing ducal figure with lance and shield in relief intaglio, surrounded by the partial legend and beaded border in negative relief. The surface is characteristically irregular and fragile, consistent with mid-thirteenth-century Polish thin-flan hammered technique. |
