Obverse description Central field depicts a standing male figure, identified as Duke Premislaus I, shown facing front in three-quarter length, wearing a short tunic and holding a lance or sceptre in the right hand and a shield in the left. The figure is flanked by six-pointed stars arranged symmetrically in the field. A circular beaded border frames the design, with the partial Latin legend PREMISLAVS distributed around the periphery in retrograde or irregular arrangement typical of early Polish bracteate coinage.
