The effigy is rendered in bold relief characteristic of bracteate coinage, with schematic facial features and stylized drapery indicated by pellet and linear decoration at the shoulders. The central design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a broad border composed of alternating crescent-shaped arches and pellets, creating a distinctive lunette-and-pellet decorative ring. As a bracteate, the design is struck on a single thin flan and appears in relief on the obverse with a corresponding incuse impression on the reverse. No legend is present. |
