Additional decorative or symbolic elements appear between the two principal motifs. The design is rendered in the characteristic bold, simplified style of Moravian bracteate coinage of the mid-thirteenth century, with the imagery contained within an irregular round flan showing the typical wavy edge of hammered bracteate production. |
