The central device depicts the rampant Bohemian lion passant to the left, rendered in bold relief characteristic of the bracteate technique. The lion is shown with a double tail, raised forepaws, and an open mouth, wearing a crown atop its head. The design occupies the central field, surrounded by a recessed concave border typical of mid-13th-century Bohemian bracteates issued under Ottokar II.
