Obverse description Uniface bracteate struck on a thin, broad flan with an irregular scalloped rim. The central device depicts the rampant Bohemian lion passant to the left, rendered in bold relief characteristic of the bracteate technique. The lion is shown with a double tail, raised forepaws, and an open mouth, wearing a crown atop its head. The design occupies the central field, surrounded by a recessed concave border typical of mid-13th-century Bohemian bracteates issued under Ottokar II.
