| Beschrijving voorzijde | Frontal bust of Saint Maurice (Moritz), patron saint of Magdeburg, depicted nimbed and enthroned, rendered in a Romanesque hieratic style. The saint is shown facing forward with hands raised in an orant or blessing posture, flanked on either side by a processional cross or staff. Beneath the bust, a crescent or lunette motif is visible in the lower field. The entire design is contained within a raised inner circle border, characteristic of bracteate coinage of the period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | As a bracteate, the reverse displays the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the faint negative impression of Saint Maurice enthroned and nimbed, with flanking crosses or staffs and the lunette motif below. The surface is slightly concave and unfinished, consistent with the single-die hammered bracteate technique. The inner circle border is partially visible as a raised ring on this side. |
